Hi! I don't have any idea what today's date or day is :) hehe ... well .. larry and i are still in singapore at the moment. We've done plenty of "window shopping" and not so much actual buying-shopping. Its really disappointing actually. I have so far bought a few pairs of shoes, a skirt and some pressies. Besides that, 5 days in singapore and very little shopping to show for it.

On the upside, we are enjoying the food very muchly. From delicious exotic cuisines such as chillied stingray to more normal foods such as fried kway teow and noodles, the best part of singapore so far has definitely been the delicious foods that i have so grown to miss.

... actually i lie. Takashimaya has to be the best thing about singapore. Takashimaya (for those who dont know) is a Japanese department store that has branches here in singapore and also in new york. The department store is made up of hundreds of smaller boutiques, each one dedicated to the likes of dior, ck, kate spade, bulgari, tiffanys and lots lots more. I got my gorgeous little birthday present from burberry (thanks to my dearrrr quannie) and I have loved every minute of roaming around the floors of takashimaya. So far i haven't bought anything else from there, but if i dont end up buying much, i might just have to get that gorgeous dior bag i was lusting for! :)

Anyways.. what else have i been up to? Here's a quick summary...
- I watched National Treasure today - very much like the Da Vinci Code
- Went to Sentosa Island - tourist attractions
- Went to Night Safari and the Zoo
- Eaten Lots
- Walked so much that both mine and larry's backs have been aching and aching. (We are currently searching for a good massage therapist to fix our backs)...
... and that's all i can think of for now :)

So, that's it for now :) Hope to blog soon! <3

*phew* Ive finally finished all my packing. My dad decided he would make my trip difficult by giving a whole bunch of "fish oil" to give to his friends when i get to singapore. Problem is, ive never met these people and dont have a clue who they are, and how im even going to find them. Apparently they're going to call me..? *hmm* confuzzed. So yes, ive had to put them into my little wheely suitcase.. hopefully customs wont eye these fish oil things and think that im smuggling anything :S

Besides that... im off to the airport in about 7 hours. Im not even sure if i can squeeze in any sleep. hehe. I have often spent the entire night tossing and turning and not sleeping simply because my mind buzzes with images of all the glorious shoes and clothes that i will be able to buy overseas. It makes me tingle and giggle! *ahhh* the true workings of a shopaholic. Although... im very proud to say i havent bought anything in the last 6-7 weeks because of my shopping ban. Instead, i have saved and saved, (and thanks to extra spending money from my great friends for my birthday) ill be able to buy all those little goodies in my dreams.... and of course, who can forget the yummy foods that they have in singapore and malaysia!... First on my list is authentic asian satay (mmmm) followed by disgustingly smelly assam laksa (and the mandatory diarrheoah - did i spell that right?) and of course, all the scrum-did-i-li-ump-tious fried noodles!

[note to self and larry] : walk heaps whilst shopping to work off extra calories gained by too many foods!

That is all... *flies off to the exotic world of yummy foods and strict sanitation*

*hugz*

I am somewhat dismayed at my lack of packing skills. I always dreamt that I would be a fabulous jet setting tourist or high flying person, with exceptional luggage and packing skills.. Today, as I attempted to do more packing for my holidays, I really did fail dismally. My major problem is deciding how many bags to bring? I have...

+ A larger Suitcase (typical suitcase size for clothes etc)
+ A wheely one
+ A small hand luggage
+ and my newest "Uchi" polkadot travel bag which i got from the always wonderful Jezka for my birthday... *Hugggz*.

And so i am stuck in a dilemma... do i really need all these little bags, and will filling them up mean having to pay for excesses on my return trip home? I am packing for about one weeks worth of clothes, and hoping to shop my little heart out overseas and fill the large suitcase with new clothes, my wheely suitcase with new shoes, and im not too sure what i plan to fill the other two with.. but my terribly unexperienced packing mind thinks im going to need all these extra bags. *sigh*.

So one more full day of packing and then im off. So far i will be in singapore from the 9th till the 19th, and then will be travelling to Malaysia. From there, Larry and I havent made any major plans yet but we are possibly going to go to other countries. But.... packing is the first and most important order of the day. *grumbles*.

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
