Last night i went to see "Sin City" without the slightest notion of plotline, cast, setting or what it might be based on. Having entered the cinema, I was slightly shocked to realize the movie was in black and white (with the contrast of a hint of a colour), and was in fact completely sold out from 8.30 till 9.30 - we caught the last session.

Anyways, the movie itself was fantastic. Sure, there were lots of laughable moments, but because Sin City was based on a comic book, the laughable moments seemed to fit right in, especially with their comical rendering of blood, gore and "pow" fighting. The way the story was told was also very cleverly made and developed, almost akin to the twist and turn plotline, on par with Lock,Stock & 2 smoking barrels...

and the cast? Just brilliant. Everyone from Josh Hartnett (bless his little droopy asian looking eyes), Bruce Willis, Clive Owen (he is so incredibly cool!) , Mickey Rourke (there's a name from the past) to hotties like Devon Aoki, James King, Brittany Murphy and Jessica Alba. No doubt the boys will love to see the girls in this movie, especially as they are all characteristically whore-like, with Jessica Alba being a stripper, James King being a prostitute, Brittany Murphy as a barmaid and Devon Aoki as a laughable (but still kinda cool) japanese prostitute samurai.. haha yes, there are some strange things that happen in this movie, but still, the way the direction was made, the telling of the story (and melding of the various stories) are put forth in an incredibly genius method :)

haha as you can see , I loved it :) And judging by the cackles from Andy sitting next to me, the oooh's and ahhh's of the cinema audience and the engrossed look on quan's face, id say they all enjoyed it too :)

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
