Ahhhh crap! I just wrote out a nice long little review about a pizza place only to have my computer screen freeze and i lost all my writing :( *buggers*
Anyhooz, last night after the meeting we went to eat at Il Padrino's (italian for "The GodFather"), which is a famous little pizzeria in northbridge. Home to the chef touted with such titles as the world's best pizza maker, king of pizza, jubilee pizza chef, and pizza chef to the pope, we could only hope for amazing pizza in this little perth-based cafe. Unfortunately we hadn't made any bookings, and my brother told me that you need to book ages in advance to get a table at Il Padrino's, but luckily for us, the chef and his wife are good family friends of Andy's, so they vacated a little table in the back for us, and treated us like royalty :p
Nanzio (the chef) made us a chicken pizza, and a l'entra which consists of such toppings as egg, sausages and pepperoni, and garlic bread to start. The thing I usually dont like about pizza is the fact that they are really greasy and the base fills you up way too quickly. With Il Padrino's pizza, it was thin crusted and woodfired, meaning that the pizza wasnt sickly to eat and sickly to look at, and best of all, it didnt fill me up with so much oil that i could probably deepfry my own pizza with it... But the pizza went down a treat, and the best part ? I loved the chunky meat bits which were completely flavoursome unlike those pizza chains that give you mini morsels of diced meat that barely have any taste, and may as well not have been included.
Definitely some thumbs up :)
Anyways, i have to go now as i have dance practice. *byE!
