~ 8:08 PM ~
It was christmas lunch today :) My workplace organised a lovely christmas day for us today, with the opening of secret santa presents starting at 12pm, followed by a delicious three course meal and unlimited drinks, and then the sundowner at the Brisbane, where the "young ones" drank to our hearts were content (or in my case - racing a million miles a minute, and almost toppling over).

After my 1/4 of a glass of Asahi beer, and 1 teaspoon of white wine, I am now suffering from the world's worst headache, and the world's weirdest feeling stomach. At this moment in time, having spent the last three months working in a sector dominated by the Aussie culture of football, cricket, and beers, I must make one comment and that is props to all those asians out there who can handle their alcohol . (Yes, i know there are a few out there ;) ).

You see - when you start working, alcohol becomes such an important part of your day, especially friday arvos, when the beers come cracking out, and offers of rounds go your way. In the last three months, I have had my sips of champagne diluted with orange juice, and my encounter with wine and beer today, and both times felt all the bit woozy after a miniscule of liquid consumption. It amazes me how much my workmates can drink, and it amazes me even more the importance they place on alcohol when eating out , or just having a good time.

I know that this is perhaps a very very bad post - but to all those non-workers out there - start building your alcohol levels - u'll need it to compete. (Unless of course, ur like me - the one they see as their "goal" for building alcohol consumption - then you're okay, because ur still in a lovable sorta niche hehehe).

Okay, perhaps i made no sense in this post. Bear in mind that my head is throbbing, and any minute now , im going to chuck my servings of squid , steak, and dessert..... so maybe next time when i post and look back, ill just shake my head.. :S

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
