The other day, I went to Armada Bar & Grill for lunch and ordered a rare steak. When it came out, the steak was cooked medium (not too much a problem, just have to eat it), but it was cold. A bit puzzled but not wanting to kick up a fuss, I rationalized that perhaps the medium was cooked very quickly on the outside and the insides left cold (... knowing however , that hog's breath never gave me cold steak)...

Andrew ordered a Steak & Sea combo, with his steak well done. When it came out, the steak was cooked medium (the second time that they failed to cool it to his liking), and cold. Again, he continued to eat it without kicking up a fuss.
Rosey ordered the snapper, and it too came out cold...

However, despite all this, the three of us just sat there and ate our meals somewhat begrudgingly, and when the staff came round to ask "how's your meals", we all just smiled and nodded.

We didn't want to kick up a fuss for fear that when our meals were brought back, an angry waiter/cook's saliva would be constituent to it.

Looking back, there have been countless times when I have failed to let someone know that their job was sub-standard just because I was worried that they would spit into my food..

I wonder if anyone else has the same problem ...

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
