Morning! I love happy stories, happy endings and stories of love and romance! Last night I went to my first *ever* engagement party for Loan & Ewen, whom have actually been engaged since the start of the year, but last night, officially decided to tell their friends and family that they were getting married! And im so so happy for them :)

It was a cosy little affair at Ewen's house, with pretty little table decorations of candles and flowers (sorry i didnt take a picture), lots of yummy food (the *bestest* potato salad that i have eaten in my entire life!), a rather sweet looking and tasting toffee pudding cake, and 50% of guests (ewen's friends) that i have never met in my life :)

Actually, it was a rather surreal experience, because many of the people at the party had brought their children and babies, and many were also married or engaged. It was kind of strange, because most of the events/parties that i've ever been to had always consisted of single/attached people that had no weddings in sight, and who often spent the night checking out other people. Last night was really different though, with parents running after their children, children making cute little messes, and wedding rings everywhere...

And then it occurred to me that weddings and engagements dont necessarily signal the end of youth, the end of independence, but is actually the *official* union of two people, their friends and their families, as well as the *start* of a life previously unexperienced :)

SO anyways, its much to early to ramble about things like this, so ill just end off with a picture of the happy couple :) *congratulations!*

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
