On Saturday Night , Peter, Peter, Bao, Quan and I headed in to the city for the Northbridge/Artrage Festival. I think it's the first ever festival, and I had a really enjoyable night :) I love atmospheres where everyone is really happy, people are dancing in the street, and where there is no attitudes to deal with.

James Street, Lake Street and I *think* Francis Street were all closed off for a big street party held over five stages , and one catwalk. The crossfire dance spectacular was definitely something that I enjoyed, with each stage transformed into a boxing ring and dance performances taking place in a tag-team sorta thing across the stages. I loved the Salsa dancers, the ArtRage performers, and the PoleDancers. There was also a food competition at the catwalk stage, as well as a fashion show - but i didnt really like much of what was going on there.

I didnt bring a camera because I didnt think it was an event requiring one, but I managed to get some dodgy snaps with my mobile :

There were also exhibits held around various spots in northbridge such as the Post-It Note Project starting from Keith & Lottie and the dramatic arts at the Chung Wah Hall. Overall, i certainly hope the City of Perth continue to fund this event :)

After that we headed to Seoul BBQ for some good ol' fashion korean food. hehe Everything that I ordered - the guy said "no". He didnt speak very good english, so the abrupt "no" was a little scary for me, but I soon realized they probably just ran out when he said "no" to both of Peter's orders too.

.. Anyways, today i went to work a bit tired and not really wanting to work. But lucky for me (and not so lucky for my ears), there were maintenance things happening on my office building which culminated in muchly loud drilling and hammering. At 3pm, my manager finally told us to all go home - apparently no one could concentrate with the maintenance work, and it was an occupation health hazard to have to listen to the racket :) So i got to go home early! *woot*

I said to myself that when i got home, i would study. It's now 7pm and im far from starting it. *doh*. One thing learnt - kae is always happy to put of studying for as long as possible! >)

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
