Well, the ball has come and gone for yet another year. Last night's ball saw a return to lovely Burswood Resort, where the ball was held at the Grand Ballroom, and featured a theme of "oriental grand lagenda ball" ... I have been to many MSU Balls nut this time, I would say that it has a little bit of sentimentality as it would've been the last ball i would ever attend for MSU (yes yes, im getting old and graduating!!), and the ball that i VP-ed over. And after many tears , hardwork and stress, Im glad to say that it was a huge success.

Sure , the crowd numbers weren't as big as previous years, but I think it was really successful nonetheless. The German Wheel, the Magician, all the entertainment, the committee dance - it all fell into place and I heard comments that it was the best ball in many years past, as well as having HEAPS of people congratulating on a great ball.

And i'm glad :) To be honest, MSU's ball rep had gone down in previous years because it was fairly boring and nothing much happened except eat and dance. But last night, we packed so much into it, that I really think everyone got their efforts and money's worth. So I think we'll look at it as the year we revived the MSU Ball :) *big head*

Anyways, sorry for the lack of blogging. I've been so incredibly busy with the ball preparations (working hard till wee hours of the morning) and with work and uni. But here's a couple of pics just to fill up your blogging experience :)

The little programs for the night - MUCh prettier in real life

The Boys pointing at poor Alan, keeled over the bin
(Actually, i think he passed out.. that's what u get for having alcohol at a ball!)

Okay, we're off to see the footy grand final at Trev's house.... !

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
