It's post-christmas sale time! This morning I woke up with the inevitable dilemma - to go and brave the sales, or sit at home and hope the great buys are still around when i eventually get out of my comfy pj's and into the city... After 4 hours of dilemma-solving, I've decided to browse around Freo this afternoon when Quan and I head out to have some harbourside lunch, and maybe look at the markets :)

In the meantime, I read that David Jones expects to move something like 250 000 pairs of shoes this week. That's a lot of shoes - but not nearly enough for me :D I am a shoe fetishest. I love my shoes, and I'll never pass up the opportunity to buy beautiful shoes (unless of course, my poor bank account is dying). But anyhoos, stuck at home until about 12 or 1 when we head out to Freo, I decided to do some online browsing. After checking out some latest styles by my favourite designer Marc Jacobs, I came to realize that what some term "fashionable" is actually quite fugly. Case in point - the new clog type, wedge-type, roman sandal type fashion at the moment.... and here are a small selection of the shoes I found that were incredibly fugly or just plain shocking :

[Purple suede boots with mummy-fying bandage details anyone?]

[ .. how about some Russian style kiddie bondage shoes?]

On the other hand, I could drool over these ones all day long... and I suspect that my lovely boyfriend was actually going to buy me those pretty MJ heart ballet flats, if not for my shockingly bad treatment of clothes and shoes...

[ The beautiful suede ballet flats - also comes in blue, and coral *drool]

Okay, I attempted to add more pretty pics but blogger won't let me for some reason (stupid blogger). Anyways, this post is making me want to go sales shopping... *twinkles fingers*

Supa Dupa Girl-Kae is the eldest of three kae's and is therefore the supa dupa one of the lot (as given to me by Alvin). Currently residing in Perth, WA, Girl-Kae is a happy go lucky bubbly girl, who loves to shop, eat, and sleep. When she's not working, she can be found at home being a homebody, glued to the screen watching enormous amounts of drama series, out eating icecreams and cakes, and shopping till her heart's content.
